Ok,  so I’m going to be really straight with you, I don’t want to talk 'about me', I hate talking about myself!

However, I suppose I can agree that some kind of introduction is required.

So here you have it, a few things you need to know about me and a few things you probably don’t... in question format... with pictures... of course.

1. Have you always been a creative person?

Ever since I was 10. That’s when I knew for sure, I started sketching and concepting and I haven’t stopped since.

2. What was your first real photography job?

Product Photographer at kikki.K, I started at the bottom and I was very lucky to learn from a variety of amazingly talented photographers, who patiently showed me the ropes. I have really happy memories of that time.

3. How long have you been a photographer for?

Eight Years

4. Why commercial photography?

I’m a huge fan of design focused products, something that has been lovingly created with a lot of consideration for ingenuity, aesthetics and functionality. I want my focus to be on highlighting those elements in a beautiful and enticing way. That’s where my two favourite skills come into play - creativity and technical photography skill. These are things, I will never stop learning and improving on.

5. What kind of businesses do you shoot for?

A good question! (...me lol!)

Ok, so as a commercial photographer, my clients could literally be anyone! If you are a small business trying to make a buck and need a photo, that’s where I come in. Largely, I am a fashion and product photographer shooting for labels, lifestyle brands and influencers but I also shoot for fitness and yoga instructors, micro breweries, I’ve photographed interiors, real estate, houses for airbnb, headshots for creatives, life coaches and urban planners and anyone else needing headshots and branding for their websites.

The list is loooong and varied.

The best way to find out if I can help you is just to give me hola!

6. What are you passionate about?

I’m all about supporting local small businesses and building relationships, I don’t think of myself as a one shoot photographer. I want to be the photographer you come back to because you know you can trust me, you know it’ll be an enjoyable easy going process and because you know I’ll work hard to see your project come to life.

7. What is your biggest life achievement?

Being a mum, they drive me crae crae but still…I love raising those little rascals :-)

8. New favourite quote?

'Don’t be a D*ck'
I don’t think that needs any further explanation.

9. Why should a client choose you?

Because I’m honest, I’m experienced and I’m patient

(plus I try very hard to not be a d*ck ;-)

10. What projects excite you the most?

Anything that is for a good purpose, whether it be an ethical, environmentally sustainable product or a business that is genuinely trying to help or do some good in the community, that excites me! I get to feel like my work is contributing to society in a positive way.
